WHAT IS CYBERGOTH?

Cybergoth is a subculture that has ties to raver, Rivethead and cyberpunk culture that is based around a futuristic dystopian aesthetic. The colour scheme most commonly incorporates black contrasted with bright neon/fluorescent shades on clothing, hair and accessories. Clothing is made from shredded fabrics and materials like patent leather or glossy PVC are common.

HOW DO I DRESS CYBER GOTH?

The most defining part of the cybergoth look is the accessories, which include cyberlocks, (hairpieces made from brightly coloured synthetic hair, rubber strips, wool and foam), large goggles, arm warmers, shredded tights and stockings, legwarmers or "fluffies", and gas masks. Cyberlocks are typically custom made, ideal for DIY goths. Footwear like industrial combat boots, patent platforms, and buckled knee-high boots are popular as well. Popular clothing pieces include gothic standards like corsets and bondage pants can be worn along with mesh shorts, fishnet tops, booty shorts, mini skirts, and tight vests.
