Genuinely shocked at quickly this arrived as a preorder, I was expecting a month's wait haha! Love this combination of heavy satin and mesh panels, it's just the right balance between light and substantial. Also delighted that the back is elasticated which I clearly forgot about. I went for a size XL and was a little nervous that might not fit my 84cm waist, but the skirt sits nicely just below my waistline so is much more comfy than I expected. The satin definitely needs a good iron to get rid of all the packing creases and make it the perfect stylish skirt. It's also the first midi skirt that doesn't hit my ankles -- well, the mesh panels do as part of the handkerchief cut but I don't mind that. The mesh panels are sooooo sexy with how high they go on the thigh but still preserve the unmaidenly modesty lol
