How do I dress goth?

Welcome baby bat! That's the name for newbie goths: baby bats can be younglings who are just discovering the darker subcultures of the world or even elder goths who had a later entry into the community.  Everyone has a home here!

To start off, you'll need to know your size.  All of our items have a size chart just below the description so get to know your measurements!  If you're ever unsure, you can give us a buzz at support@tragicbeautiful.com.  There's no such thing as a dumb question, we're always happy to help!

If you're not sure where to begin, we recommend grabbing some staples: a pair of thigh high socks or fishnet tights from Tragic or Music Legs is a must, they're so versatile and look badass even when you tear them up!  If you're more into casual looks or just want taste, you can't go wrong with a graphic tee.  The little black dress, or LBD, is a wardrobe favourite so why not flatter your body and put a modern gothic spin on a classic?

Cottagecore, for example, is characterised by a romantic, rustic aesthetic that often features floral patterns and earthy colors. Steampunk fashion (or steam punk), on the other hand, has a more industrial, Victorian-inspired look, with a focus on gears, cogs, and brass accents. Dark academia is a literary-inspired aesthetic that combines elements of academia and gothic fashion. Pastel goth, is a subculture that combines elements of gothic fashion with pastel colors. Grunge fashion is characterised by a style that is often considered as a rebellion against the status quo, and punk fashion is often associated with anti-establishment and anti-mainstream ideologies. Traditional goth is a subculture that is associated with dark and mysterious fashion styles.
