BLACK HAIR DYE FAQS

WILL BLACK HAIR DYE OVER OTHER COLOURS?

Black hair dye will effectively cover any hair colour.  However, it's best to seek advice from a salon if your hair is a very light blonde as it's dangerous to go from one extreme to the other. Blonde shades will also have no effect on black hair so proceed carefully. Our semi-permanent hair dyes are ideal if you want to change to black hair as semi-permanent formulas are gentle and will gradually fade after several washes.

HOW LONG DOES BLACK HAIR DYE LAST?

Because black dye contains a lot of pigment, your hair will absorb it much quicker than most dyes and as such will last much longer. Black dye will safely remain in your hair between 4 to 6 weeks, even 5 to 7 if you take care of it well. To extend the life of your dye, be sure to use colour safe shampoo and conditioner as well as only washing every 2 to 3 days.
