This quilt set is designed for high-pile sizing (it has a little extra around the edges to accommodate a thick continental insert). 120gsm, ultrasoft poly-cotton blend with an invisible zipper at the foot of the cover.

Beautiful patterns, great quality fabric
I live in NZ and it’s bloody hard to get a nice conventional duvet set for superking (NZ), let alone something a little spookier; I couldn’t be happier to have grabbed this, especially for the price I got it for. The fabric is soft and lightly fluffy, almost like microfibre without the ick sensation, and is a decent quality poly/cotton blend when I was worried it would be very polyester with easy pulling and snagging. I’m anticipating pilling and would love to get this in 100% cotton if that option is ever available! The print and the backing fabric are black all the way through which is a relief as my cats are dicks and their claws will bring white threads through, so glad I don’t have to deal with that. My feather duvet fills it out beautifully and this is an excellent fit for an NZ Superking/AUS king with a higher pile. Gorgeous, will be buying others!

UPDATED REVIEW: Initially I thought this set was amazing. The fabric feels so nice but it got pilling all over it really fast. I know the item description says it is suited to a high pile doona but I've had a look & even the $1300 one I seen wouldn't be able to fill this out properly, my wool doona swims around in this cover with it's excess of material (pics below), there are ties on the inside of the cover (a good idea) but unless you are willing to put holes in your doona they are useless. I wish I had gotten a double bed set (still not confident my doona would fill it out) as the print is a combination of several things that I love. And I think the price is reasonable for an alt brand but I don't think I would purchase another set which is a shame as I like to support small businesses and don't like to give negative reviews.
